Milk: we grow on it, we are nourished by it, and we need it in order to develop properly. It’s an integral part of human culture. As babies, we literally couldn’t live without it; as we age, we learn that consuming the right amount of milk will keep our bones strong and healthy throughout our lives. But in a time of greater concern over fat and additives in the diet, not just any milk will do – we are encouraged to drink milk that’s both low in fat and high in calcium. |
