VoIP, or Voice over Internet Protocol, has achieved immense popularity since its inception because it is cheap when compared to traditional phone systems, and is relatively easy to use. Residences and businesses alike are flocking to get their hands on this new technology. It is the leading alternative for traditional phones, and fast becoming a common household product.

The first and last word right now in searching the vast resources and information overload of the Internet is the Google search engine. I don’t think I need to explain the speed and ease with which the word became part of the regular vocabulary of people everywhere, do I?
According to most standard industry definitions, a subnotebook computer is a small and lightweight portable PC that has many of the features of a standard laptop. Subnotebooks tend to stay within a small range of sizes – at present from 7 inches to 13 – and usually weigh from less than 1 kilogram to just about 2 kg. Many of them run full versions of desktop operating systems: commonly, Windows XP and various Linux distributions. Synonyms include “ultraportable”, “mini-laptop”, “featherweight”, and Intel’s own coined word “netbook”.
