Excited patrons stream into the new McDonald’s Timog Tobias branch on its opening day. Wednesday the 25th of March dawned bright and sunny on the Scout Area, and at the corner of Timog Avenue and Scout Tobias Street, the stage was set for the opening of a brand-new McDonald’s branch. Yellow balloons formed the classic Golden Arches out front, while more balloons adorned the branch’s fleet of delivery motorcycles. |

Does the above tagline ring a bell? Of all the restaurants that have made their way intothe Scout Area, certainly, the original branch of Max’s Fried Chicken on Scout Tuazon cor. Scout Lozano is one of those places that remain ever present, ready to serve and feed people’s hungry stomachs. |

There’s a new Italian restaurant in the Scout Area: Amici, located at the ground floor of the Bellagio Square building at the corner of Tomas Morato Avenue and Scout Fuentebella Street. Opened just at the end of February 2008, it has quickly become one of the area’s favorite eating and meeting spots. |
